Nancy O'Dell's first job in the broadcast industry was as a reporter/anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as an anchor in the morning and a crime reporter. Her articles from Charleston on how Charleston police dealt with DUI cases with leniency led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division. The investigation resulted a stricter direction for state officials. Ms. O'Dell was awarded her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. After her time in Charleston O'Dell worked as a anchor and investigative reporter at NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV before joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor as well as a weekday correspondent. She also works as an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's been a reporter for the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
